Adult jiu jitsu

Out of shape is where everyone starts.

You do not get in shape to start jiu jitsu. Jiu jitsu gets you in shape. You set how hard you go, and the first weeks are supposed to feel hard.

Too old?

Jiu jitsu has divisions for every age for a reason. Start at your pace.

Never trained?

Every class has a first-timer. Next month it is someone else.

Which nights?

Jiu jitsu Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:00 PM. MMA Tuesday and Thursday. Kickboxing Monday and Wednesday at 8:00 PM. Functional training Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Sore?

Soreness is normal. Pain is not. Tap early, come back Thursday.

Women-only jiu jitsu class

A room where you set the pace.

Same jiu jitsu. Same coaches. Just women on the mat, so the first class feels like a first class and not like a test.

  • Self-defense that works against size and strength.
  • Bring a friend. Two nervous people is a team.
  • Train in the women-only class, the mixed classes, or both.

Tuesday and Thursday, 6:00 to 7:00 PM.

FAQ

Real questions. Plain answers.

Is 3 really old enough?

Yes. The Mini Jiu-Jitsu class is practice drills, balance and listening, built for small bodies. Most three-year-olds last the whole class. Some watch from your lap the first day. Both are normal.

What happens at the free class?

Message us on WhatsApp or send the form at the end of the page: pick a day and you get a confirmation by email. Come in comfortable clothes. Kids join the class for their age. Adults join a beginner-friendly class.

My kid is shy. Will they be okay?

Shy kids do well here because the class has a routine: bow in, warm up, drills, rolling, bow out. Come watch one class first if that helps.

Will jiu jitsu make my kid aggressive?

The opposite. Kids learn control, not hitting. A kid who knows they can handle themselves has nothing to prove.

I am out of shape. Should I wait?

No. Starting is what gets you in shape. You control the pace in every class.

What about plans and prices?

Kids from $130 a month, adults from $150, kickboxing $130 a month. The full table is in the Prices section, and the first class is free.

Do you speak Portuguese?

Yes. English and Portuguese, on the mat and on WhatsApp.

Can I try the women-only class first?

Yes. Say so in your message and we will book you into it.
